Meeting Rooms
The Union has three committee rooms which can be used. These rooms are good for meetings and small gatherings. The rooms and their capacities are:
Committee Room 1 "Conference with a view"
This room is located to the right of the Union's reception with views looking out to the grass space outside.
It can hold:

A projector and a screen are also available if you wish to bring your own laptop - just pop in and ask us at Reception when you make your booking.
Committee Room 3 "Smaller but perfectly formed"
This smaller meeting space will seat up to 8 people, making it perfect for committee or planning meetings. This room is located in Geordies
Committee Room 4 "A dozen of great minds"
This space will seat up to 12 people. This room is located in Geordies
How can I book a Commitee Room?
If you are a HW student or a society:
- Book by contacting our Reception Team at the Student Union Reception either in person or over the phone (0131 451 5333)
- Use our online eBooking system (see below)
Please note that if you're not a Society or Student of the University, you will not be able to use eBooker to book a Committee Room
